Asphalt sealcoating involves applying a protective coating to driveways, parking lots, or roads to extend their lifespan and enhance appearance. The coating—typically oil-based, coal tar, or asphalt emulsion—is applied with a sprayer or squeegee and helps seal the surface, blocking out water and harmful elements. The process includes cleaning the surface, filling any cracks or potholes, and then applying the sealant. Proper sealcoating helps reduce cracking and long-term damage.
